Gray Duck Art Review
Let me first start off and say how much FUN this was. I will admit, I was a bit nervous because I’m not really the best painter or artistic in any way (I wish I was!) but as soon as we got started I felt at ease.
I set up the living room with a plastic table cloth, two glasses of wine, paint brushes and the premixed paint that correlates to the numbers on the canvas. ALL provided in the kit (excluding the wine). The canvas is 12×16 and pre-drawn by the Gray Duck Art team.
A fun part of this for me was they picked our photos for us. So, when I opened up the kits, I was surprised! When you order your painting, you send them three high quality photos of your pet and they will use one for formatting/painting. It ships to your house in 8-14 days and it’s recommended that you complete your painting within 90 days.
There isn’t a suggested method of where to start. I sat there for a few minutes before I started thinking in my head, where do I begin? I decided to start with the darkest paint colors first and work my way to the lighter ones. It’s nice they give you a few different size brush options for the different size sections!
Once I started, I didn’t want to stop! They do mention that it takes a few hours and to do it when you have enough time. We enjoyed doing this so much and it would be the perfect gift for yourself or any pet lover in your life! You can watch our evening on my Instagram highlights called “Gray Duck Art”. Chance and I even made it a little interesting and made it a competition. I painted Dawson and he painted Trigger. I posted a poll on Instagram to see whose painting was better… it was MINE! What do you think?
Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway with Gray Duck Art when I hit 3K followers! You can win one of your own!
