My Dog-Friendly Staycation at the Hilton Dallas/Southlake Town Square

If you missed it, this weekend, I got to do my very first “staycation” with the dogs. It was all documented on my Instagram stories (which are all saved in the highlight ‘southlake’). I seriously can’t believe what I get to do with this passion of mine. It’s so much FUN!

I got this opportunity from a collaboration with Visit DFW. I’m one of their newest DFW Insiders and I hope to bring all things dog and Dallas to their readers! Let me start of by saying that I already knew that Dallas was pretty dog-friendly, by that I mean people bring their dogs to dinner, out for drinks and there are SO many dog parks around.

But did you know that the Dallas/Fort Worth area has a handful of dog-friendly hotels?! I definitely didn’t before I did some research for that blog. I’m here to tell you more about my staycation I had at the Hilton Dallas/Southlake Town Square – let’s get to it!

Just from looking on Instagram, I could tell this place was gorgeous so I couldn’t wait to get there and start exploring! And for real, how fun being able to bring the dogs with us.

We walked into our room and were surprised with so many things. A note from the sales people welcoming us and letting us know all the pet-friendly restaurants in Southlake Town Square, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for Chance and I’s anniversary and custom dog treats from Three Dog Bakery with the boys names on them. SERIOUSLY. What a way to welcome us!

The staff let us know about McPherson Park right behind the hotel. It was nice to take a break and enjoy the view before we went and walked around Southlake Town Square. The square is full of different dining and retail spots that I definitely could have done some damage in.

It was so refreshing to get away and not go too far. We got to check out an area we’ve never been to before and we even got to make it a family affair! Having the dogs with us made it even more special. The Hilton Dallas/Southlake Town Square is a MUST if you’re wanting a staycation in the DFW area.

You can read about more dog-friendly hotels around DFW in my blog on Visit DFW here.
